I feel that this is just a nightmare, but it’s all real. She got married at January 18, 2017, with our relationship having ended previously. The nights after the wedding were filled with loneliness, as I remembered some of our precious moments. We used to talk over the phone, but now what’s left is lingering silence. I wondered how she spends time with her husband. Before, her nights were mine, as we often spent time together.

The photos in this series were taken whenever she crossed my mind. Capturing them was my process of “living again.” Due to this, I’m now able to deal with the pain and accept that she belongs to another.

I’m sure that I’ll meet a new “her” after.
